Tired of Scale Reducing Your Production and   Causing Expensive Workovers?

ScaleGone™ Encapsulated and Live Scale Inhibitors

Wells that produce water will most likely develop scale issues at some point. These scale deposits can negatively impact perforations, casing, production tubulars, valves, pumps, completion equipment, safety equipment, gas lift mandrels, ESPs. If left unresolved, scaling can reduce production and eventually require costly workovers, HSE challenges, and/or abandonment.

Finoric’s ScaleGone™ Encapsulated and Live scale inhibitors can proactively protect your wells from scale deposits and minimize costs and downtime. They can guard against all common oilfield scales, including inhibited scales, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, strontium sulfate, barium sulfate, iron sulfide, and NORM.

The Finoric ScaleGone Encapsulated scale inhibitor can be placed with the proppant during hydraulic fracturing operations, utilizing a unique, dual-encapsulation process that:

  • Protects the product during pumping operations
  • Releases a small dose during fracturing
  • Slowly releases inhibitor to provide long-term protection

Benefits

  • Rapid payback with deferment of production chemistry and remedial treatments
  • Provides a steady source of scale inhibition for years
  • 80 wt% active: approximately five times more active than other products
  • Leaves no insoluble residue like polymer or diatomaceous earth in the proppant
  • Proppant stress testing shows no permeability reduction, up to a closure pressure of 6,000 psi
  • Can be used in reservoirs with a bottomhole temperature up to 280°F

ScaleGone Live is a 95% active solid scale inhibitor designed to reduce costs, freight emissions, and logistics. The unique matrix bonding composition provides a small amount of immediate-release scale inhibitor while still protecting against deposition over the first 1+ year of the well’s life.

Benefits

  • Reduces cost by up to 40% vs. liquid scale inhibitor and freight emissions by up to 85%
  • Matrix bonding mechanism provides both immediate and long-term protection
  • Will not immediately release as compared to other high activity solids
  • Does not leave insoluble residue like polymer or diatomaceous earth in the proppant
